What Is a Life Path Number?

Your life path number is worked out from your full date of birth and is thought to reveal your natural talents, your challenges and the direction your life tends to take. It is the number most people mean when they talk about numerology.

To find it, you add together every digit of your birth date and reduce the total to a single digit, from 1 to 9. The two exceptions are the master numbers 11 and 22, and sometimes 33, which are left as they are because they carry extra meaning. The calculator above does the maths for you.

Is numerology the same as astrology?
